“I talked to about 2 other lenders before I talked to Zach. I had a bit of a complicated situation and each lender kept basically telling me to just go a normal route…why? Cause it was easier for them. Not Zach, he immediately knew what I needed and within days I was locking in rates and moving. This guy saved me countless of thousands of dollars. So glad I waited and talked to him. The realtor I was working with didn’t want to work with an out of state lender, but within a week, she was like, yeah this guy Zach is good. He knows his stuff. “Towards the end of 2021 I contacted Zach based on a friend’s recommendation. Zach immediately got me pre approved and was ready to help us along the way. Well I was always taught to do my due diligence and “shop around”. So fast forward 9 months, roughly 5 pre approvals, and over 40 home visits later. Is work a hobby? Being with my family and 3 young boys. Being social with friends and neighbors. Going to local events. Watching comedy/stand-up and numerous documentaries.
Before working at NBKC, what was the most unusual or interesting job you've ever had?
I was an intern at a local angel investment firm and start up incubator.
