What is your motto or personal mantra?

All Arizona State Sun Devil Athletics...passionate alum!
What is something that people would be surprised if they knew about you?
I have two children that participate in intercollegiate athletics...basketball and gymnastics.
What's your alma mater?
Arizona State University – B.S. University of Kansas - Masters
What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?
Helping people not only fulfill their dream of owning a home, but assisting them in educating them on how important having the "right" mortgage is to their overall financial well-being.
Where did you grow up?
On a family farm in rural northwest Iowa. We drove 18 miles to get to our high school.
What are some of your hobbies?
Working out, attending as many of my kids sporting activities as possible, watching almost any sports event on TV and attending in person.
Before working at NBKC, what was the most unusual or interesting job you've ever had?
I worked in the sports industry from the time I was in college until I left the industry in 2003. From working with the Kansas City Chiefs and the NCAA National Office, I had some great experiences and met some very influential sports celebrities throughout the years.
