“I did not know much about NBKC when selecting a mortgage company but after the completing the mortgage process i was happy i did. I found them through the Costco mortgage program and they appeared to get good reviews. I was looking for a mortgage company that was more attentive to the customer than the big bank lenders but also cost effective. A lender that was responsive, knowledgeable, and diligent about the mortgage process. NBKC was was all of that and more. I am happy with the choice i made. I was nervous on locking in a good rate as interest rates were going up and at the time i didn't have a solid close date. Laura was very helpful and we locked in the rate I wanted. This was a huge move as now interest rates are much higher. The only negative thing I can say is that there was a slight hesitation if they could close on time. When I was in my 20s I drove around the Midwest in a big truck selling wholesale flower arrangements to furniture stores.
