Be prepared, not scared. Which seems broad and is intended to be so. You could be asked for more than you ever thought was necessary which is part of the process. The more you can gather, ask and understand upfront, the easier it is when the ball gets rolling. Enjoy the ride, you are about to achieve one of the American dreams, home ownership! It’s a big deal!
“Great customer service and even responds on the weekend, and very knowledgeable about rates and the market. I’m a successful real estate investor with 2 homes and looking to get another and recently reached out to him about a quote…”
—Daniel Vahab from Port Saint Lucie, FL
“Well, what can I say..I was very much disappointed at how smoothly Ty took care of everything. I mean, most Loan Officers I've experienced are horrible & do not maintain good communication, but he was different. Ty was actually the exact opposite of a horrible Loan Officer. With this little tiny brain of mines, he masterfully explained everything in little precise details until I understood everything. He also maintained excellent communication and worked super hard. Sadly, I have to admit.. I 110% recommend Ty to anyone looking for a mortgage loan or refi loan. After this experience, I believe in the mortgage industry again. (:”

“I was quite impressed with how Ty and the entire NBKC team worked so diligently to come up with the correct re-fi option for me. During the entire process, Ty and his team were always available to answer any questions and concerns. Great job!”
—Kevin from Redford, MI
“NBKC was an amazing lender to work with, especially Ty. We were first time buyers so we had no idea what we were doing and they really helped walk us through the process. We had tons of questions and Ty and NBKC was there 100% of the way to answer all our questions and help us out.”
—Shantelle from Lehi, UT
“Ty helped me with a refi this past fall. My situation was a bit complex, and he handled it without issue. He asked questions, researched what he needed to, and helped me proceed with lowering my rate by over 1.5%! It was a great experience and one I'd do again.”
—Jason Streck from Crossville, TN
“Ty was fantastic! Not only did he help us get the best rate in a not so great market, he was in constant communication with us through the whole process. His support was much appreciated as we hadn’t bought a house in years!”
—Christina Smith from Moneta, VA
“Ty was the best loan officer i have ever worked with. He would allways call me back and he was allways looking out for my best internet. Trust me I have delt with a lot off others that are like car sales men he is not. He would call my realtor when I was having trouble with them and get them going ”
—Doug from Jamestown, NY
“Several years ago, Ty Swarts helped me refinance a house in WA, which he made a wonderful and easy process. I highy recommended him to a few friends after that experience. Fast forward a few years, and I moved from WA to AZ. Again, he made the loan process part of buying a "new" home easy and straight forward. Thank you again for everything!!! ”
—Kimberli S. from Tucson, AZ
“I do not have enough good things to say about Ty and NBKC. Leading process was extremely smooth and fast, two things that make or break the home buying experience! Will definitely be recommending Ty to friends and you should too!”
—Andrew from Atlanta, GA
“I highly recommend Ty! He will work for you and go to the ends of the earth to ensure you are cared for. My experience from beginning to end was phenomenal, ”

Attend the Masters Golf Tournament, watch a football game in the Big House and a few other locations.
Cliché as it might sound, getting new house keys in my customers hands. Truly nothing more enjoyable than that first phone call after documents have been signed and they own their new home.

While at Kanas State, I was an equipment manager for the football team and my gameday job was to hold the headset cord for Legendary Hall of Fame Coach Bill Snyder. So, I have many miles logged walking side by side with Coach up and down that sideline hearing every word spoke into his microphone and every play as it was relayed to the team.
