Tools that make it easy to work smarter, not harder

You’ve been approved for a business account, what comes next? We’ve got a few suggestions to help you get the ball rolling as you explore all the new (to you) tools.

Set up your business account

  • Create your online account

Head over to the website and create an online account.

  • Make an opening deposit

Now that your account has been created, let’s add some money to it. Deposit a check via our mobile app, send a wire or an ACH transfer from another bank, or use a money transfer service, such as Venmo, Paypal, or Cash App.

  • Sign up for eStatements

After logging into your account, you can opt into paperless statements by visiting the electronic statements page, and selecting “Enroll in eStatements” from the dropdown menu.

  • Create alerts

Want to keep an eye on your account on the go? You can set up alerts via email or text for account changes, security alerts, and more. All you have to do is click the dropdown menu, select your settings, and follow the setup/edit alerts page.

  • Payment Solutions

Enrolling in automatic bill payments or syncing up merchant processing systems, like TalusPay, is a breeze with a nbkc business account.

    • To enroll in Bill Pay, start by asking your Relationship Banker if the option is available to you. Then, enroll by clicking the menu button, selecting “Move Money,” followed by clicking “Enroll in Pay Bills,” and follow the directions from there.
    • To sync up you account for invoicing, basic accounting services, ACH/Wire payments, and merchant processing, you can start enrolling by clicking the menu button, selecting “Solutions,” followed by clicking “Autobooks Subscription,” to get started.
  • Deposit Solutions

    • Make a mobile deposit by downloading our mobile app to your smartphone.
    • Find high volume solutions with remote deposit capture.
    • Enjoy our hands-off solution, Lock Box.
  • Fraud Deterrent

With Positive Pay, you can monitor check and ACH activity easily.

  • Other Cash Management Solutions

We’ve got a handful of other options to hone in on cash management, such as Overdraft Sweep, Peg Balance Sweep, Loan Sweep and Insured Sweep.

To sync your business account with programs like TalusPay or ACH/Wire Origination, or any of the above solutions, you can always ask a Relationship Banker for assistance, or schedule an appointment to help you get started.

More ways to sync, update & organize your account

We really do mean it when we say we’re here for you every step of the way. See, it’s all in the little details. We’ve got your back — between easily syncing various tools with your business account, security alerts, and more.

  • Don’t worry about contacting your vendors, clients, or partners with your new banking information — we can do that for you. All you have to do is request a Bank Verification Letter to be forwarded. Most use this for payroll, merchant processing, and bookkeeping providers.
  • Need to create additional Online Banking Profiles for your employees, CPAs, and bookkeepers? That’s an option too.
  • Our online banking platform easily syncs with necessary bookkeeping and accounting software.
  • If you’re still maintaining accounts at other financial institutions, you can sync your account with those, too. You can even view your other balances and history from our platform – no more flipping between tabs on your browser.
  • Keep your accounts organized your way by giving them each a nickname. All you have to do is log into your account, go to the online banking homepage and select the three-dot option button for each account, and make your changes from there.

If you need any assistance setting these features up, or have additional questions, reach out to your Relationship Banker for assistance, or schedule an appointment to help you get started.
