Tell us your story. We will listen. And together, we will come up with a solution.

We are a MHDC Lender

As a certified lender, we can help Missouri residents take advantage of a number of mortgage assistance programs available through the Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC). Some of the benefits include access to affordable interest rates as well as down payment and closing cost assistance.

Down payment assistance programs

Buying a home can feel out of reach—but it doesn’t have to be. nbkc bank offers access to down payment assistance programs that help eligible buyers cover part of their upfront costs. These programs can make homeownership more affordable, especially for first-time buyers and those in qualifying income brackets. Let’s talk and see if you qualify.

Affordable housing typically refers to homes that cost no more than 30% of a household’s gross income. It can include subsidized housing, income-restricted properties, or homes offered at below-market rates. Our goal is to get people into a place that they can call home.
Eligibility usually depends on your household income and location. Many programs are aimed at low- to moderate-income households or first-time buyers.
Our loan officers are happy to talk with you. We can refer you to a local real estate agent. You can also check with local housing authorities or community development organizations that specialize in affordable home loan programs.
If you meet certain criteria, there is a good likelihood that you can qualify for special financing.
See our Rates Calculator to determine your monthly mortgage payments.

Down payment requirements vary, but many affordable housing programs offer low or no down payment options—sometimes as little as 3% or even 0%.
nbkc bank offers special home loan programs (both affordable housing mortgages with reduced rates and down payment assistance programs) that sometimes don’t require a minimum credit score. These programs are designed with flexible requirements. You can see the specific details on the special home loan programs above.
We are happy to help walk you through the process. Our loan officers are knowledgeable and will guide you each step of the way. You’ll typically need to submit proof of income, employment, and residency, along with a credit check.
It can vary depending on the program and availability of funding, but expect it to take several weeks to a few months.
